How do I connect Postiz to Claude?
There are two ways: add the official Postiz connector from the Claude directory in one click, or paste the Postiz MCP link as a custom connector for the full toolset. Both take under a minute and need no installs or API keys.
Option 1: Official Claude connector

Option 2: Custom connector with the Postiz MCP link (full toolset)
- 1Copy the Postiz MCP link. Copy https://mcp.postiz.com/mcp-oauth-dynamic. Everyone uses the same link; access is tied to your Postiz account when you sign in.
- 2Open Connectors in Claude. In Claude, open your settings and go to Connectors (labelled Customize > Connectors in some Claude apps).
- 3Add a custom connector. Choose Add custom connector, paste the Postiz MCP link as the server URL, and save.
- 4Sign in to Postiz and approve access. Claude opens a Postiz sign-in. Approve access and Claude can now post, schedule, generate media, and clip videos for you.

Official connector vs custom MCP link: what is the difference?
The official directory connector and the custom MCP link talk to the same Postiz account. The only difference is that the directory version leaves out image generation, video generation, and clipping, because Anthropic's directory terms do not allow media-generation tools.

The Claude connector has no separate charge. Postiz starts with a 7-day free trial, then plans run from $29 per month for 5 channels to $99 per month for 100 channels. To unlock image generation, video generation, and clipping, add Postiz as a custom connector in Claude using the MCP link. Everything else works the same way.
Is Claude the same as Claude Code or Claude Cowork?

Claude Code is Anthropic's terminal coding agent and adds Postiz with a claude mcp add command. Claude Cowork is the desktop agent that runs the Postiz CLI and MCP tools.
